Senda Sonora/Mapa Sonoro de Ibias its a phonography project comisioned by Asturias government. The project takes place on the small county of Ibias in a remote area of northern spanish mountains.

This project aims to build a soundmap of the area trying to capture the soundscapes of a rural region. Also the project is complemented by a geolocative soundwalk following a foot path along Ibias river. The Soundwalk consists in 5 soundscape compositions built by Palacios and myself. Those compositions aim to present an inmersive experience for the walker/listener and a active listening activity mixing cultural issues, natural environments and composed soundmarks of the area.
